Introducing New Generation of Smart Statistics System

During GITEX Technology Week and in the Dubai Smart Platform, Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) has unveiled the new generation of the Smart Statistics System of Dubai Emirate. DSC is going to showcase to visitors of the exhibition its leading system invented and created by DSC. The system has been granted a number of awards and locally and universally hailed.
PerformanceArif Obaid Al Muhairi, DSC's Executive Director, stated in an interview with Al Bayan Newspaper: "Launching the new generation of Smart Statistics System comes in line with DSC's policy emanating from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah protect him, and the directives of the Government of Dubai to constantly adopt innovation and development concepts as an approach of government work, in addition to achieving the highest levels of happiness of various categories of customers through introducing the latest and world-class innovative services to exceed their expectations."
"The new generation of smart statistics system offers advanced solutions which enable the user, particularly the planners and decision makers, to visualize and read data more comprehensively, as well as providing tools to achieve deeper understanding via several dimensions of data, presentation tools and analysis," added he.
He went on to say: "The adopted system will enable the user to have a direct access to databases and graphs and linking them into infographics technologies without referring to any statistical or technical support to be provided by DSC."
The Executive Director of DSC concluded: "The new generation of the Smart Statistics System also enables users to access the system built-in technical statistical tools and solutions to analyze any particular data."
Within GITEX Technology Week, DSC will showcase the smart application of DSC and introduces visitors to the various smart statistical features and services it offers, most importantly is the services of the direct design statistical reports, designing the report components and required graphs while accessing the database, in addition to numerous statistical services, such as «Dubai in Figures», Dubai major indices and the smart population clock which provides the number of population at a real-time while browsing the smart application or going back to an earlier date.
On the sidelines of the GITEX Technology Week 2017, DSC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children on Wednesday 11th October aiming at promoting partnership ties and reaching strategic levels to support the mission of both sides in conducting surveys and measuring the social phenomena. The MoU was signed by Ms. Afra Al Basti, Director General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children and Mr. Tariq Al Janahi, Deputy Executive Director and CEO of Happiness and Positivity in DSC.
