‘Dubai Excellence Program’ Organizes a Forum for the 4th Generations System at Dubai Statistics Center (DSC)

'Dubai Excellence Program' Organizes a Forum for the 4th Generations System at Dubai Statistics Center (DSC)

Al Muhairi: 96% of our employees completed "Dubai Smart Training"

Al Nusairat: The Government of Dubai is progressed and leading in Corporate Excellence and capable of implementing the system in a distinguished way.

Dubai Government Excellence Program, affiliated with the Executive Board of the Emirate of Dubai organized a forum at DSC, during which it reviewed transformation into implementing the 4th Generation System, in line with the directions of HRH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai. The forum was attended by Arif Al-Muhairi, Executive Director of Dubai Statistics Center, Tarek Al Janahi, Deputy Executive Director of Dubai Statistics Center, Dr. Ahmed Al Nusairat, General Coordinator for the Dubai Government Excellence Program, as well as DSC's leadership team, head of departments and a number of DSC's work teams.

Arif Al-Muhairi, Executive Director of Dubai Statistics Center, expressed his thanks and gratitude to Dubai Government Excellence Program, commending the outstanding role the program plays in developing the government's performance, both on the corporate and employee levels. He stressed that transforming into the 4th Generation System will be one of the strategic priorities of DSC during the coming period. DSC will give this transformation the utmost care, in a pursuit to realize the level of excellence the wise leader aspires to, as well as realize DSC's vision to support the achievement of happiness and sustainable development.

Al Muhairi: 96% of our employees completed "Dubai Smart Training" Initiative

Al-Muhairi announced that 96% of DSC employees completed successfully the smart training, as part of Dubai Smart Training Initiative; one of Dubai Government Excellence Program initiatives. He elaborated that achieving such a record rate was the result of DSC's making one of its objectives related to developing and growing human resources, that at least 90% of its employees pass the program by the end of last year. He pointed out that the Initiative supported DSC in implementing its training plans efficiently without incurring much expenses, especially in conducting training programs related to excellence, creativity and innovation culture. In the same context, Al Muhairi congratulated Abdullah Al Shaibani, Head of Dubai Government Excellence Program, as well as Dr. Ahmed Al Nusairat and the program team for the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) showing  Dubai Smart Training Initiative, which is part of Dubai Government Excellence Program, a global appreciation by awarding it in the Champions category of the WSIS 2016 Awards, as one of the best 5 global initiatives in the field of using ICT in building HR capabilities.

Al Nusairat opened the forum with a speech, during which he dealt with the strategic aspects of this transformation. He emphasized that the entities of the Government of Dubai are mature enough in excellence to qualify, not only to start implementing the 4th Generation System but to strongly take off and implement it distinctively and outstandingly due to the leading corporate expertise, knowledge and experience of the Government of Dubai in corporate excellence. Al Nusairat also commended DSC and stated that it is one of the distinguished entities that strongly took off on its journey to excellence, as DSC achieved a number of accomplishments within Dubai Government Excellence Program, the last of which was its winning for the 5th time in a row for best achievement in corporate happiness with the record rate of 97.1%. Moreover, it came in third place in the category of Distinguished Government Entities (Medium size) and also third place in the best improvement rate on the level of the Government of Dubai. In his speech, Nusairat invited the work team of DSC to continue on the path to excellence and work as one family, considering the distinctive work environment in DSC the mainstay of what it achieved and the reason for its outstanding performance.

Dr. Zeyad Al Kahlout, Quality and Excellence Advisor at Dubai Government Excellence Program, explained the 4th Generation system from the technical point of view, its criteria and best mechanisms to transform from the current standards of Dubai Government Excellence Program to the 4th Generation System. He pointed out that the system is considered one of the most progressed standards of excellence, for it concentrates on the specialization aspect of the government entities. Al Kahlout dealt with the approved method and tools of evaluation. At the end of his lecture, he started a discussion, during which the technical, administrative and regulative questions asked by the audience were answered.
