Dubai has succeeded in imposing the tourism sector as a lead in global tourism map and became a center for attracting business visitors and tourists and shopping lovers. Dubai has capabilities and features that make it a tourist destination multiple benefits, such as the existence of infrastructure and modern means of communication and transportation, where tourism is a key in achieving economic growth and diversification in the Emirate of Dubai.

This activity has administrative data of Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, such as the number of visitors coming to the Emirate of Dubai, number of hotels, hotel apartment's buildings, the number of hotel rooms and hotel apartments classified by the degree of classification and occupancy rate.

It is displayed as the economic indicators of the activity of hotels and restaurants, such as value-added production, intermediate consumption, compensation of employees and capital formation, through a series of economic surveys.
