73.86% of Dubai Population is Under 40 Years Old

Demographic and vital statistics issued by the Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) showed that 73.86% of the population of Dubai under the age of 40, and the number of people over the age of 75 years (the old people) reached 11,222 people, of whom 51.81% is females, compared to 48.19% of males.

In detail, the Emirates Today stated that data released by DSC revealed that about 18% of the total population of the Emirate, which amounts to 3,356.000 by the end of 2019, fall into the age group between 30 and 34 years, and about 73.86% of its population are under 40 years old.

According to the data, the population of the age group between 30 and 34 years reached 602,962 people, and males constituted 74.53% after their number reached 449,412 people, compared to 25.47% of females with a total of 153,550 people.

The age group between 25 and 29 years came in second place on the list of population data in Dubai, with 16.64% of the general census, males constituted 74.48% of them, as they reached 415,773 people, compared to 25.52% of females, with a total of 142,489 people.

The age group of the population under the age of four years (children) constituted 5.26% of the general census, with a total of 176,517 people.

The number of people over the age of 75 years is 11,222 people, females constituted 51.81% of them, with a total of 5.814 people, compared to 48.19% of males, with a total of 5,408.

According to data issued by the Dubai Statistics Center, it is indicated that the population of the Emirate of Dubai reached three million and 356 thousand people at the end of last year, compared to three million and 192 thousand people in 2018, with an increase of 164 thousand people, with a growth rate of 5.13%.
