Arif Obaid Al Muhairi, CEO of DSC, launched the new operations portal as a result of reengineering DSC’s operations during the last period preparing to commence f implementation of DSC’s Operations through the new system.
»DSC’s operations were reengineered in the light of our quest for continuous development and keep up with the latest statistical, technical, and administrative developments to ensure achieve excellence during the coming period. Noting that the new system for DSC’s operations management and launched under »Processes« logo, was designed in accordance with the best international practices of supportive and statistical operation development under the implementation of DSC strategy to achieve the highest levels of Institutional excellence and its vision of Global Excellence through enhancing the development in the Emirate. « Al Muhairi said.
Standards
He explained that statistics operations have been designed depending on the last version of general standard model of statistical operations approved by UN and international statistical organizations to be one of few statistical centers around the world implements this version of the international model, especially its latest version.
On the other hand, in the presence of Tariq Al-Jaahi, the Acting Deputy Executive Director, Al-Muhairi honored the distinguished employees and work teams during the annual celebration organized by DSC recently as part of its strategy aiming at enhancing a positive work environment and career happiness using the positive practices represented in recognition of efforts of employees and work teams to promote excellence, creativity and giving more.

During the celebration, distinguished employee in each and every department, distinguished teamwork, distinguished initiative, distinguished field employee, distinguished driver, office worker were honored in addition to employees who worked for more than ten years were recognized for their dedication over their service years in accordance with DSC policy and approach on recognition efforts and achievements of their employees and teamwork.
