Under the Theme of “Happiness” DSC Honors its Outstanding Staff

Under the theme of "Happiness", Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) organized its annual ceremony in the presence of H.E. Mr. Arif Obaid Al Muhairi, DSC Executive Director, Mr.  Tariq Al Janahi, Deputy Executive Director of DSC and CEO of Happiness and Positivity, Directors of DSC departments and all DSC staff where outstanding staff as well as most significant work teams and programs and projects were honored.

In this occasion, Al Muhairi addressed the honored staff by saying: "Expressing gratitude and appreciation besides motivating the creative and outstanding staff is one of the most important pillars of our significant work environment; therefore, we are so keen every year to honor them and everyone taking part in DSC pronounced achievements." He added: "We also consider this ceremony a periodic meeting that enhances social aspects among DSC staff, and we are keen to be different each year."

The honoring ceremony commenced with an activity embodying a reception of the" Year of Zayed "and followed by reviewing the most important institutional achievements, key performance indicators, including levels of happiness of various relevant categories during 2017, achievements of the work team and their voluntary contributions and key events that DSC witnessed during the previous year.

Noteworthy, DSC created a category to honor outstanding staff in the area of "Happiness and Positivity" since last year as part of its efforts to promote happiness and positivity in its work environment and becomes an area that DSC show great interest in.

In their speech delivered in the ceremony, the "Leadership Team" announced launching the wholly new program entitled "Expert" which is an advanced professional program dedicated to qualify Emirati statisticians to be experts in the field of applied statistics. This initiative comes within the DSC's keenness to provide the best services to clients, to offer its outstanding staff continuous support and to qualify the DSC's administrative and technical staff from the second and third lines to harness and lead the future of statistics work.
