Dubai Statistics Center Celebrates the Flag Day

The Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) participated in the State's celebrations in the Flag Day. The DSC's staff headed by H.E. Arif Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of DC, raised and saluted the UAE Flag to be flown high at 11:00 on Thursday 1st November 2018 at the DSC headquarters in the International Academic City in Dubai.
Speaking on this dearest occasion, Al Muhairi said: "The Flag Day is a national day recognized by every and each member of the society in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, calling on all members of UAE community and government entities to raise the UAE Flag at 11:00 AM on 1st November in observance of Flag Day which coincides with the anniversary when His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, took up the reins of power. Indeed, the UAE Flag is a potent symbol of our nation and the flag of national unity."
Alongside the ceremony of flying the UAE flag, the DSC held various national activities dominated by national feelings and dedicated to renewing the covenant and loyalty to the UAE, its wise leadership and its lofty flag, the symbol of union and unity. Today everything wears the flag colors to form an impressive portrait expressing the joy of our beloved homeland.
