H.E. Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai and Commissioner-General of the Government Development Path, emphasized that Dubai is about to make a new qualitative leap in the scope of the strategic paths of growth consistent with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, stated in the document of 4th January 2020.
Chairing the meeting attended by the members of the task force of the Government Path Development, H.E. Al Basti stressed that the continuous follow-up and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, is an indication of the priority of goals set and the advancement of work methodologies to keep pace with the unique nature and position of Dubai in the business world.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Aisha Bint Butti bin Bishr, Director General of Smart Dubai, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of the Department of Human Resources of Dubai Government, and Arif Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Dubai Statistics Center.
H.E. Al Basti pointed out that Dubai enjoys a unique global position in the field of government work through its creative initiatives and smart services that shape the future while considering the sustainability of the prosperity and wellbeing of Dubai residents and visitors and establishing its position as a center for future-shaping and exploration.
Al Basti highlighted that “Activities related to the Government Development are in place to achieve the ambitious goals of enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness and ensuring the sustainability of its attractiveness at all levels.”
During the meeting, the team members tackled the details of the action plans and initiatives emanating from the development path and many ideas and integrated solutions that drive the pace of work on various tracks of initiatives and projects.
The taskforce members also reviewed the progress performance report, which included the projects that were launched, such as housing, job code of conduct, and general code of ethics for employees of the Dubai government. They touched on the matrix of alignment between the initiatives to ensure synergy of all efforts and enhance cooperation to accomplish projects proactively and to turn the wise leadership’s aspirations into tangible reality.
