Dubai
Statistics Center announced that the population of Dubai, numbered 3,385,570,
are fully committed to perform their duties during the period of the National
Sterilisation Programme, launched by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and
the Ministry of Interior, in coordination with all federal and local
institutions. The National Sterilisation Programme includes all facilities,
public transportation and subway service during the weekend, from 8 P.M., Thursday,
March 26 to 6 A.M., Sunday, March 29, 2020.
For
its part, Dubai Government Media Office expressed its appreciation to the people
of Dubai for their commitment and published images showing the full commitment
of the residents to stay in their homes and vacate the streets during the National
Sterilisation Programme's operations that aims at combating the Novel Coronavirus
(COVID-19).
