The data published by Dubai Statistics Centre DSC shows that the total number of active mobile and land lines in the Dubai reached about 7.95 million by the end of last year compared to 7.86 million in 2018 with a growth rate of 1.15%.
The data shows that the number of active mobile lines in Dubai increased to 6 million, 502 thousand and 121 lines compared to about 6 million, 432 thousand and 845 lines in 2018 with growth rate of 1.08%.
The number of land lines amounted to 1,450,877 lines compared to 1,431,460 lines with a growth rate of 1.36% whereas the number of broadband internet lines amounted to 660,402 subscriptions compared to 633,047 subscriptions in 2018, with a growth rate of 4.32% of which 570 thousand for residential sector and about 91 thousand for business sector.
