"The total number of new licenses issued within the first 5 months of this year is 9502, whereas the total number of cancelled licenses within the same period is 1453 licenses", Dubai Statistics Center announced.
Recent DSC data shows that "commercial licenses came first in terms of number, recording 6478 licenses between January and May 2016, whereas the total number of professional licenses was 2641".
The "Intilaq" License came in 3rd place, recording 189 new licenses, the total number of tourist licenses was 100, and industrial licenses came in 5th place with 94 licenses in 5 months.
As per DSC on Business Sector Activity, the total number of licenses issued last year was 22,369 licenses, and a total of 3470 cancelled licenses.
