Dubai population has increased (permanent residents) over the past year 2020 by 1.5% representing around 56,000 million people to reach a total number of 3.411 million people compared with 2019 where their number amounted to 3.355 million people according to data issued by Dubia Statistics Center.

The data showed an average reduction of 15.6% in the number of workers in emirate and the residents outside the Emirate as well as the temporary residents by 187 thousand where their number amounted to 1.009 million people compared with 1.196 million people in 2019; therefore, the number of the Emirate population who are permanently residing and the workers who residing out of the Emirate was regressing by 3% so that the number of active personnel during peak hours in Dubai amounts to 4.420 million people compared with 4.552 million people in 2019.
The number of female population (permanent residence) has increased in Dubai 2.5% by 25 thousand of females to reach 1.049 million people compared with 1.024 million people in 2019. The number of male population increase as well 1% representing around 31 Thousand of males to reach 2.362 million compared with 2.331 million people in 2019.
As regards, Emirati citizens’ population, their number has increased 3% by 7600 citizens to reach 271 thousand compared with 3.092 million people.
