Data revealed by the Dubai Statistics Center, issued by Dubai Municipality, showed that the total number of buildings completed in Dubai reached 2479 new buildings with a value of 24 Billion UAE Dirhams during the first nine months of this year, at an average of nearly 275 buildings per month.
According to the data obtained by "Emarat Al Youm", last September recorded the completion of 375 new buildings, while Multi-Storey Buildings topped in terms of value, registering about 18.5 billion dirhams.

In detail, data announced by the Dubai Statistics Center showed that the total number of completed buildings in Dubai reached 2479 new buildings since the beginning of this year until the end of September, at an average of 275 buildings per month.
The data issued by Dubai Municipality indicated that Private Villas topped the list of completed buildings in terms of number during the period between January and September of this year, with a rate of 1150 buildings, followed by Investment Villas with 781 buildings.
According to the data, the completed Multi-Storey Buildings reached 319, ranking third, compared to 117 Industrial Buildings, while the number of Public Buildings reached 112 during the same period.
Ratio
Statistics revealed that Private Villas also topped the list of completed buildings during the first nine months of 2020, in terms of percentage, acquiring 46.4% of the total buildings, followed by Investment Villas with a proportion of 31.5%, then Multi-Storey Buildings with a proportion of 12.9%, while the Industrial Buildings possessed 4.7%, and Public Buildings had 4.5%.
Further, the data showed that the total number of buildings completed in Dubai during last January reached 271, in February it reached 327 buildings, the number in March reached 353 buildings, April recorded 229 buildings, and the total number of buildings completed in May reached 214 buildings, in addition to 221 buildings in June.
The data also revealed that in July, 252 new buildings were completed, the number reached 237 last August, while last September recorded 375 buildings.
The Investment and Private Villas together accounted for 77.9% of the number of buildings completed during the period between January and September, registering 1931 buildings.
According to "Dubai Statistics Center", these numbers relate to buildings completed in areas subject to Dubai Municipality during the specified period.
Value
Moreover, the total value of buildings completed during the first nine months of this year amounted to about 24 billion dirhams, topped by Multi-Storey Buildings, at about 18.5 billion dirhams, followed by Private Villas with a value of 2.42 billion dirhams.
The value of completed Public Buildings reached about 1.63 billion dirhams, Investment Villas reached about 889 million dirhams, while the value of Industrial Buildings reached about 574 million dirhams.
It is worthy noting that the number of buildings completed in Dubai last year amounted to 6665 new buildings, with a total value of 36 billion and 114 million dirhams, with a growth rate of 6%.
