Data revealed by the Dubai Statistics Center, issued by Dubai Municipality, showed that the total number of buildings completed within the first seven months of 2020 reached 1876 new buildings, out of which 252 buildings were completed in July.
The data, obtained by "Emarat Al Youm", showed that the residential units included within the completed buildings in the first seven months reached 13146 residential units.
The new buildings completed between January and July 2020 numbered 842 Private Villas, 623 Investment Villas, 225 Multi-Storey Buildings, 99 Industrial Buildings and 78 Public Buildings.
Private Villas topped the list of completed units in the period between January and July 2020 with (45.1%), followed by Investment Villas with (33.4%), then Multi-Storey Buildings with (12.1%), whereas Industrial Buildings with (5.3%) and Public Buildings with (4.2%).
The Investment Villas and Private Villas possessed (78.5%) of the completed buildings in the period between January and July 2019 with 1465 Villas.
Dubai Statics Center indicated that the above numbers are related to the completed buildings in areas covered by Dubai Municipality within the said period.
It is worth noting that the number of completed buildings in Dubai in 2019 reached 6665 new buildings at a total value of AED 36 Billion and 114 Million, with a growth rate of (6%).
