1615 New Buildings Completed in Dubai during the First Half

​Data revealed by the Dubai Statistics Center, issued by Dubai Municipality, showed that the total number of buildings completed in Dubai reached 1615 new buildings with a value of 13 Billion and 480 Million UAE Dirhams during the first half of this year, at a rate of 269 buildings per month.
The data, obtained by "Emarat Al Youm", showed that the completed "Multi-Storey" buildings, numbered 196, topped the list in terms of value, at 10 Billion and 116 Million UAE Dirhams, while "Private Villas" reached almost 43.7% of the total number of buildings completed during First Half.
In detail, data revealed by the Dubai Statistics Center issued by Dubai Municipality indicated that the total value of buildings completed in Dubai, numbered 1615 new buildings, valued 13 Billion and 480 Million UAE Dirhams during the First Half of 2020.
According to the data, the completed "Multi-Storey" buildings, numbered 196, topped the list in terms of value, at 10 Billion and 116 Million UAE Dirhams during the irst six months of this year, followed by the completed "Private Villas", which numbered 705 buildings with a value of One Billion and 480 Million UAE Dirhams.
"Public Buildings" came in third place, with 810 Million UAE Dirhams with a total of 62 buildings, followed by "Investment Villas", which numbered 562 buildings, valued 608 Million UAE Dirhams, while the total value of completed "Industrial Buildings" reached 466 Million UAE Dirhams, and numbered 90 buildings.
The "Multi-Storey" buildings possessed about 75% of the total value of the completed buildings during the first six months of this year, taking into account that the "Floor Area Ratio" and "Multi-Storey" type of buildings were merged in the new statistics, followed by "Private Villas" buildings, which possessed about 11% of the total value.
The portion of "Public Buildings" was at about 6%, and "Investment Villa" buildings at 4.5%, compared to 3.4% for "Industrial" buildings.
"Private Villas" possessed about 43.7% of the total number of buildings completed during the First Half, compared to 34.7% for "Investment Villas", while the portion of "Multi-Storey" buildings reached 12%, while 5.6% for "Industrial" buildings, and 3.8% for "Public Buildings".
The total number of buildings completed during the First Quarter of this year reached 951 and valued 8 Billion and 507 Million UAE Dirhams, compared to 664 buildings in the Second Quarter, with a total value of 4 Billion and 973 Million UAE Dirhams.
The number of completed buildings in Dubai reached 6665 new buildings during the last year, with a growth rate of 10.2% over the year 2018, of a total value of 36 Billion and 114 Million UAE Dirhams, with an increase of about 6%.
