H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan: We want a Better, Happier and more Superb Life for Emiratis because they Deserve it.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces emphasized that the UAE's main objective, since its inception, was to achieve the happiness of its citizens, promote national assets, and strengthen and consolidate the nation's position globally at all levels.
Speaking to a delegation from the National
Happiness and Positivity Programme accompanied by H.H. Ohood Al Roumi, Minister
of State for Happiness, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan
welcomed the delegation members and tackled issues related to program, its
initiatives and goals set to be achieved in the next phase.
Consolidating Goodness Themes
His Highness also spoke about the multiple facets for achieving happiness and positivity, which he said was only possible through the act of giving, being tolerant and establishing good.
"The UAE has been a pioneer in adopting a national programme for promoting happiness and positivity through which we want to create a better, more beautiful, and happier life for the sons and daughters of the nation, who deserve to live with joy and optimism," His Highness said.
Sheikh Mohamed added that the UAE's investment was always in the Emirati citizen, who have succeeded in creating one of the happiest and most fulfilled countries in the world, adding that with continued hard work, the UAE will see more achievements that will further enhance the happiness and well-being of the UAE community as a whole.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince went on to stress the importance of instilling those values of giving and tolerance in future generations, and raising them in a culture of positivity, optimism and hope, commending the role of the National Happiness and Positivity Programme in launching various initiatives aimed to promote positive values and attitudes.
The meeting was attended by a number of Sheikhs, including Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Al Ain Region, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
Appointment
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has issued two resolutions. As per the first Resolution, Khalifa Mohammed Hamad Faris Al Mazrouei is appointed as the Under-Secretary of the Department of Transport. The second Resolution stipulates that Dr. Mohammed Rashid Ahmed Al Hameli be appointed as the Director-General of Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
