4% Rise in Construction Costs in Dubai

Construction costs in Dubai rose by 4.01% during the first quarter compared to the fourth quarter of 2017. Building costs rose by 4.12% for residential buildings and by 3.64% for non-residential buildings. Compared to the first quarter of 2017, construction costs rose by 5.66% Construction costs for residential buildings increased by 5.85% and for non-residential buildings by 5.00%. 

The prices of raw materials and materials used in construction of buildings increased by 6.53%, which was due to the rise in the mining and quarrying group by 7.38% and the manufacturing materials by 6.48%. The prices of wages, equipment, labor and other costs rose by 0.40% High rental cost of equipment increased 6.16%, labor wages and other costs increased by 0.12% 
The prices of materials and materials used in building construction rose by 6.52%, which was the result of the rise in the mining and quarrying group by 7.38% and the manufacturing materials group by 6.47%. 

The prices of wages, equipment, labor and other costs rose by 0.40%, due to the high cost of rental of equipment by 6.16% and labor and other costs by 0.12%. The prices of materials and materials used in construction of buildings increased by 6.55%, which was the result of the increase in the group of mining and quarrying materials by 7.36% and the group of manufacturing materials by 6.51%. 

The prices of wages, equipment, labor and other costs rose by 0.41%, due to the higher cost of rental of equipment by 6.16% and labor and other costs by 0.12%. The prices of raw materials and materials used in construction of buildings increased by 8.74%, which was the result of the rise in the mining and quarrying industry by 11.94%, the manufacturing materials sector by 8.58%, and the wages, equipment, labor and other costs rose by 1.28% High rental cost of equipment increased by 0.85%, labor costs and other costs increased by 1.30%. The prices of raw materials and materials used in construction of buildings increased by 8.83%, which was the result of the rise in the mining and quarrying group by 11.92%, the manufacturing materials group by 8.66%, and the prices of wages, equipment, labor and other costs increased by 1.28% High rental cost of equipment increased by 0.85%, labor costs and other costs increased by 1.30%.
