Dubai Statistics: Dubai Sees 4049 Units in H1-18

According to the statistical report released by The Dubai Statistics Center "DSC", Dubai observed the completion of 4049 new units valued at 14.856 billion dirhams during the first half of 2018.
The total number of completed units in Dubai was 2003 units by the end of the first quarter of 2018 valued at 9.413 billion dirhams compared to 2046 units in the second quarter of 2018 with a total value of 9.443 billion dirhams
The statistical report revealed that the new completed units during the months extended between January-June 2018 distributed as follows: 2273 Investment Villas, 1259 Private Villas, 165 Multi-Storey Units, 119 for both Industrial Units and Multi-Storey Ratio Buildings and 114 Public Buildings.
The report figures show that Investment Villas topped the new completed units in terms of number with a percentage of 56.14%, followed by Private Villas with a share of 31.09%. On the other hand, Multi-Storey Units represent a share of 4.08%, Industrial Units and Multi-Storey Ratio Buildings represent a share of 2.94% and Public Buildings had a share of 2.82%. The data of the report shows that the percentage of both the Investment and Private Villas out of the completed units stood at 87.23%.
In terms of value, the report shows that the value of the completed units of Investment Villas during the first six months of 2018 amounted to 2.499 billion dirhams, 20 million dirhams for Private Villas, and 746 million dirhams for Industrial Units. In the meantime, the Multi-Storey Ratio Buildings recorded the highest amount ever with a total of 7.517 billion dirhams. The Multi-Storey Units value amounted to 4.90 billion dirhams and finally the Public Buildings value amounted to 1.984 billion dirhams.
