E-statistics system is considered as one of the pioneering electronic systems in the statistical field globally with the primary objective of supporting the processes of planning and decision making. The e-Statistics System will provide its users with specific databases on economic, demographic, and social surveys and censuses conducted by the Center with a substantial value-added especially in light of the possibilities that the system will provide ‘smart tools’ which the users can use to construct statistical reports according to their preferences. The system will provide the mechanisms for looking at the most updated data and statistical registry reports issued by various government departments and institutions through the nature of its achievements. The system will also provide updated and accurate statistical reports which can be directly used by its users through the Dubai Statistics Center’s web page.

The system is also covering in first phase the statistical registry reports of several departments and institutions through the Statistical Sources System which allow the center to collect the registry reports from the sources. Within the next two years, 100 sources of statistical data will be connected to the system ranging from governmental, semi-governmental, and private sector institutions.

The system is one of the initiatives of the Dubai Statistics Center within the framework of upgrading statistical work in the emirate of Dubai especially in supporting electronic transformation which is considered as one of the targets of the Dubai government, and the strengthening of cooperation with various strategic companies and with different societal and institutional categories.
