“GeoStat” is another component of the Smart Statistics suite adopted by the Government of Dubai. “GeoStat” focus on the approach of integration Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and statistical information, through which various statistical information covering demographic, social and economic sectors can be presented on the map of Dubai by means of linking statistical information to its geographic location in order to add value and enhance planning and decision making in various areas. Moreover, such system can be used internally by Dubai Statistics Centre fieldwork, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of its processes.
