Dubai Statistics Council Holds a Meeting for Poll Survey Customers

DSC held a meeting for the poll survey customers, which was attended by a number of representatives of government directorates, as part of DSC's vision, "Statistics supporting happiness-generating and sustainable development" and as part of  the "Happiness Council" initiative introduced by DSC to reach all relevant DSC customers, as it will launch a series of periodical meetings for the different concerned groups.

In this context, Meshal Al Hammadi, Director of Surveys and Statistical Frameworks stated, "DSC Pursues to improve the services it renders to all its customers, as we give our customers strategic importance so as to realize the highest level of happiness for them. We also care to cater for all the requirements and needs of our government entity customers by means of providing them with the best services and the easiest procedures in line with the values held by DSC."

The meeting held by DSC was attended by government entity representatives from Dubai Municipality, Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Courts, Land Department, Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Women Establishment, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai Smart Government, Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.

Mr. Hussein Alsayed Shehadeh, Strategy and Organizational Excellence Expert, gave a detailed presentation, during which he shed the light on the new vision, mission and values, the strategic axes and objectives, while Meshal Al Hammadi gave a presentation on an opinion poll study that was recently launched by DSC entitled "Because we Care for Your Opinion" which aims at getting to know the different points of view for all poll customers and getting to know their requirements and needs, as well as facilitate the procedures followed in conducting opinion poll studies, as the total response to this study was 2,596 respondents.

Moreover, Noura Al Hajji, Director of Opinion Polls, gave a presentation concerning the results of Happiness poll for the opinion poll customers among the representatives of directorates from Dubai Government, as 24 government entities, which conducted 85 studies in 2015, benefitted from the opinion polls and the happiness rate of the opinion poll customers amounted to 92.78%.

While Mona Sultan, President of Customer Care Division, gave an introductory presentation concerning the mechanism of registering customers via DSC's website, through which their statistical needs can be known without their having to go to DSC in person.
