Al Muhairi: Another New Achievement in the Name of UAE… We Dedicate the Awards to Our Wise Leadership Who Developed the Vision and Paved the Way for Excellence
The Silicon Valley Foundation (SVF) in the USA has awarded the Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) seven trophies of the Golden Bridge Awards 2018 including its Grand Trophy 2018 in its 10th Session held under the theme "Businesses and Innovation". Indeed, this is another new record achievement for DSC being the first entity in Europe, Middle East and Africa to win the Grand Trophy of the Golden Bridge Awards 2018.
The Golden Bridge is one of the world's most prestigious awards. It is the grand award granted by the SVF, the global center for technology, innovation and the future shaping in the world. SVF headquarters host thousands of giant leading high-tech companies which develops and launch giant projects, ideas and innovations, as well as future plans and researches.
On this occasion, Arif Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of DSC, said: "It is our honor to dedicate this global achievement to the UAE wise leadership who spares no efforts in developing the State's ambitious vision and the constructive policies, besides the sound guidance that unquestionably paved the way for us as a government entity to excel and be innovative and push ourselves to the limit to create happiness."
"I am proud of the DSC's taskforce who fully comprehends the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and makes every effort with full dedication and creativity to contribute to put this vision in place," Al Muhairi stated.
He added: "The DSC's taskforce enjoys qualities of high spirit of positivity and institutional culture which is based on creativity, perfection and realizing the highest standards of efficiency, along with the culture of happiness and positivity that first and foremost contributes to the positive institutional results."
Noteworthy, DSC won the Grand Trophy awarded to the top 11 entities worldwide to be the first entity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to receive such a notable award this year.
DSC won the Golden Trophy (first place) in the category of Innovations in Technology for the Smart Statistics System. DSC also won the Golden Trophy in the "Best Workplace" following achieving exceptional successes and significant results in the area of job happiness and harmony during the past years. The Happiness and Positivity Council of DSC won the Golden Trophy for the best supporting team who contributed to achieving the highest levels of happiness in the workplace environment. In the field of Human Resources Management, DSC won the Golden Trophy and DSC's Smart Statistics System won the Golden Trophy for Best IT Achievement, in addition to winning the Silver Trophy in the category of the Best Institution in 2018.
In total, the DES has won 55 awards varying from international, regional and local awards in the statistical and administrative fields, in addition to the excellent taskforces, leaders and employees in the results of happiness and job harmony.
