Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) has been recently awarded 7 global awards by two reputable international organizations. DSC clinched 5 awards presented by the Global Business Excellence Awards based in UK and another 2 awards presented by Business Intelligence Group based in USA. DSC was honored with these 7 awards while competing with other elite public, private and public benefit institutions from around the world.
On this occasion, the Executive Director of DSC, Arif Al Muhairi expressed deep pleasure for this new significant global achievement which is a new-fangled milestone to be added to leading record of all the institutions of the Dubai Government and the UAE in general. “These awards are indeed another further milestone achieved under the wise directives and vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. These directives and visions laid the foundations and paved the way for the DSC to achieve excellence and success.”
Al Muhairi hailed the DSC’s staff and considered them creative and persistent hard workers who seeks to achieve excellence and leadership. He stated: “I am fortunate to have such a team who works with passion with sights set to improve the future.”
Noteworthy, by this significant achievement DSC’s total balance of international, regional and local awards become 64 awards out of which 19 achieved during 2018.
Excellence Awards in Global Business
DSC won five international business awards in the Outstanding Fast-Growth Business category. Mr. Arif Obaid Al Muhairi, Executive Director of DSC, won the Outstanding Executive Award. Also, DCS won the Award of the happiest Staff as part of the category of Outstanding HR Team. The Smart Statistics System won the Award of Outstanding IT Team and Mr. Mohammed Hassan Ba Masoud, Director of Statistical Surveys, won the Outstanding New Employee (employed less than 2 years).
Innovation and Happiness
DSC also won the Big Innovation Award in its 6th session presented by the Business Intelligence Group for the creation of the Smart Statistics System. Moreover, DSC clinched the Award of he Best Workplace in Public Sector making it the first government entity in Europe and the Middle East to win this award.
