to a report published by “Dubai Statistics Center”, the total number of
passengers at Dubai airports amounted to 18 million 251 thousand and 934 passengers
during the first quarter of the year 2020. This number is divided into 17
million 820 thousand and 27 Dubai International Airport passengers and 431
thousand and 908 at the International AlMaktoum Airport.
As
per the data, total number of flights at Dubai International Airport reached 81
thousand and 806 flights, against 10 thousand and 247 flights at Al Maktoum International
Airport, amounting to a total of 92 thousand and 53 flights. The number of passengers
arriving in Dubai International Airport amounted to 8 million, 782 thousand and
463, against 9 million 32 thousand, and 155 departing. The number of transit
passengers amounted to 5408 passengers. Moreover, Al Maktoum International Airport
recorded, 206 thousand and 550 arrivals, 212 thousand and 85 departures and 13
thousand and 273 transits passengers.
